RU Woodwind Day is next SUNDAY!

Register for an AMAZING day of Woodwinding and Bassoonsery at Rutgers next Sunday March 30th! Myself, Roger Nye, and Bacoustics will all be performing in recital that morning at 10 am.  I hope you can make it.  More Information is below.  See you all this Sunday at Rutgers.


We are planning a great day with Mason Gross School of the Arts (Rutgers University) faculty and student performances and master classes.  Kaoru Hinata (flute), Roger Nye and Christopher Wickham (bassoons), Paul Cohen (saxophone), and I will perform, and along with Jonathan Blumenfeld (oboe), we will also teach master classes.  Joe D'Auguste (Mason Gross DMA Candidate and Director of Professional Music Academy in NJ) will give a session on successful auditioning.  Mark and Christina Sloss of Professional Wind Instrument Consultants will give a session on choosing a new instrument.  Kristin Bertrand will be there all day to do minor repairs--especially useful for oboe and clarinet students!  Vendors will be available all day with instruments and accessories for participants to try and buy.  Vendors will include Selmer, D'Addario (Rico), Wright Music, Flute Pro Shop, Music & Arts, NEMC/City Music Center, and CW Reeds (bassoon reeds).

People registering three or more students will pay full price ($10) for
the first two (2) participants and $5 for all others.People will be
